Four students from Saffron Walden County High School were selected to attend a 2 day Bursary in the Studio here at Chilford Hall last weekend. Keira Sermon, Lauren Cardy, Kate Farley and Alexandra Shepherd had the print studio to themselves for 2 days of Printmaking of their choice with 2 Tutors from Curwen. They were instructed in the use of the large offset litho press and produced large stunning monoprints on the historic press. In addition they created large Dry Points from their own drawings. They were a pleasure to work with in the studio and all at Curwen wish them much luck for the future.
