On 20th September we see the opening of a special exhibition showing a selection of rarely seen lithographs and proofs from the Curwen Archive by His Majesty the King. The Prince of Wales, as he was then known, made a series of lithographs with the late Master Printer Stanley Jones MBE in the 1990s. His Majesty has always been a talented watercolourist, and through the success of the lithographs, he went on to raise millions of pounds for charities including the Prince’s Trust. The Curwen archive holds some of the working proofs and correspondence relating to the creation of these special works.
