Discover Mokulito: The art of Wood Lithography

Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Mokulito, a lively and experimental printmaking technique that combines the expressive freedom of lithography with the natural textures of woodcut.  No need for a traditional litho press—this process can be done entirely by hand or with a simple tabletop etching press. Using a wooden plate as your base, you'll learn how to draw, carve, and print in layers, blending lithographic marks with woodgrain patterns, drypoint lines, and even monoprint textures.
This workshop dives into creative mark-making, innovative surface work, and the joyful unpredictability of working with wood. Come ready to experiment, get inky, and leave with your own original prints.
