Curwen opened its doors to guests over the weekend to great success. Over 100 people attended on each day and all were impressed by the two new studios and Gallery space. Stanley Jones Life President officially opened the new premises and was joined by John Mills Sculptor, Anita Klein, David Gentleman, Debbie Urquhart, Sabastiano Barassi from Henery Moore Foundation, Tim Vestey, Robin, Vic and Rose Vestey, George and Nikki Vestey, Richard Porch Mayor Saffron Walden, Great Thurlow and Little Thurlow Parish Councillors, Monica Petzal, Fiona Alper, Veronique Chance from ARU to name a few.
John Mills kindly donated a bronze of William Blake who was a Printmaker as well as Painter and Poet during his lifetime.
