On this online live interactive course via Zoom, this workshop will demonstrate a variety of methods using Gelli plates to create prints in preparation for using them for collage. Explore the endless possibilities for creating imagery, patterns, and rich, layered compositions using a variety of found objects and cut stencils. Students will learn how to make image transfers from magazines onto tissue paper.
Course structure
· View demonstration and be introduced to the gelli plate method
· Experiment and use textured objects to add pattern
· Create handmade stencils and masks
· Explore layering, colour and composition to create prints for collage use
· Learn image transfer techniques
Experience level
Beginner and/or those wishing to refresh their skills and anyone who would like to try an online course.

Full payment of the course fee is required when booking a place. A reserved place is not secure until full payment has been received.
If for any reason you are unable to attend, we will refund monies paid minus a £15.00 admin fee, as long as you cancel your place more than 1 month before the course start date.
Course transfers are at the discretion of Curwen Print Study Centre.

For CPSC Certificate course
Payment of the deposit for Term 1 is required when booking a place. A reserved place is not secure until this deposit has been received. The outstanding balance for Term 1 is due before the start of Term 1 and payments for Terms 2 & 3 will be phased in a similar way. The receipt of your Term 1 deposit is acceptance of commitment to all 3 Terms of the Certificate course.
