Monoprinting using Drawing and Painting

Book any 2 Curwen Monoprinting courses at the same time and save £10!

A Monoprint is a printmaking technique where the image can only be made once because it has been treated in a unique way through inking or wiping. You will work on A4 sized images using a variety of techniques including transfer drawing, masking, textured papers and the painterly technique. On this course you will use a selection of tools, approaches and materials to create marks and to add and remove ink so as to build individual layered prints. You will be able to experiment with counter prints, ghost printing, translucent and opaque inks, using presses and hand printing methods. By the end of the day you will have a selection of unique prints to take home.
