Young Artists Summer Fun

This is a great session for children aged 8 - 12 years old to learn something new and have fun. On this half day course, you will explore different printing techniques and create unique original prints to take home at the end of the morning. You will use proper tools and learn how to use a printing press to create some lovely prints to show your friends and family what printing is all about!

Course structure
• What is a print and how was it made? Discussion with looking at examples
• What do these things do? Introduction to the tools and equipment
• How do I make my printing plate?
• Making my printing plate
• How do I put the ink on?
• How do I to print my image with the press?
• How do I print my image at home?
• How do I clean up my printing plate and myself?!

Experience level
• Suitable for everyone from 8 - 12 years old

Pre-course information
If you get hungry mid morning bring a snack!

Payment / Terms and Conditions

For all courses except CPSC Certificate course

Full payment of the course fee is required when booking a place. A reserved place is not secure until full payment has been received. If full payment is not received within 10 working days of a place being reserved, the booking will be assumed to be void.

If for any reason you are unable to attend, we will refund monies paid minus a £10.00 admin fee, as long as you cancel your place more than 10 working days before the course start date. Cancellations received less than 10 working days before a course starts will require the full course fee to be paid.

Curwen Print Study Centre reserves the right to cancel courses – a full refund will be made in these circumstances.


For CPSC Certificate course

Payment of the deposit for Term 1 is required when booking a place. A reserved place is not secure until this deposit has been received. If the Term 1 deposit is not received within 20 working days of a place being reserved, the booking will be assumed to be void. The outstanding balance for Term 1 is due before the start of Term 1.

If for any reason you are unable to attend, we will refund monies paid minus a £10.00 admin fee, as long as you cancel your place more than 20 working days before the course start date. Cancellations received less than 20 working days before a course starts will require the full course fee to be paid.
