Printmaking without a Press

Explore lino and monoprinting techniques which can easily be recreated in a home studio without using a press. You will experiment with transfer drawing, subtractive methods, paper stencils and painterly methods to create A4 monoprints.

Use the hand burnishing technique to print lino cuts and be shown how to extend and develop these prints through using masking and layering and, by combining these 2 techniques, see the endless possibilities afforded by printing without a press. You will have at least 10 x A4 prints to take home.
